There are many different techniques that are used to chip a golf ball. Good chipping technique is essential to scoring in golf, especially under pressure in a golf tournament. My video below it may be hard to hear me, as I do not yet use a microphone. I am basically just showing the difference between moving your torso through the chip, as opposed to leaving your torso still. You will see immediate progress if you begin to turn your torso through your chip.
This second video is quite good as well. I like that he has his students stand close to the ball with a narrow stance. Follow these tips and I believe you will see major progress in your chipping game, which is critical in scoring.
I’m currently playing in the Southern California Senior Amateur Championship at Red Hill CC
