I suffered over this title, as some will think it’s arrogant. But I believe there is a fine line between arrogance and confident preparedness. I could not have achieved a fraction of the success I’ve enjoyed without some combination of the things I’ve incorporated into my daily routine. The link below will give you some information on Egoscue which was tailored to my specific areas I needed help in for golf, and the range of motion required in golf. There are many good stretching programs, this is one very good one!
Since I was evaluated by TPI certified instructor Terry Rowles, it revealed how weak I really was. My exercise program was doing little to nothing for me, and was a basic waste of 5+ hours a week. Since getting a TPI program specific to my body and it’s needs, I have made tremendous physical progress, and am now hitting the ball farther than ever before.
And for the bold and brave, the tough insane effective workout developed by Tony Horton P90X. All I can say is this program will get you in the best shape of your life.
So if you would actually do all four of these, and drink 100 ounces of water a day, cut the Carbs, Sugar and alcohol…….you would be my hero!!! This is not easy to do, but like I said before, if you don’t do something drastic now, you’ll never make the changes needed to be the best you can be. All I can tell you is I drastically reduced my waistline in 30 days, I feel energized, and I’ll have an added mental and physical confidence going into the 2012 year. I know it will be next to impossible to repeat what I did in 2011, but I am going to do everything possible to keep my game at the highest level I can, while enjoying improved health and happiness.
I always laugh when I hear the rumor talk about how I must be taking performance enhancing drugs to be hitting the ball so far. When in fact, the biggest improvement has been to my short game. I am not sure drugs can help you putt better. I play amateur golf for the love of the game, we all want to improve and play our best golf.
